Several young musical group of our Brotherhood attended the meeting in Montilla

As we announced in our blog a few days ago, on Saturday May 7th the Bishop calling for all young people in the diocese of Córdoba to meet in Montilla around the Risen Jesus and San Juan de Avila, co- Patron of World Youth Day 2011, Easter hold a meeting.

Several young people of our Brotherhood Montilla displaced to share with 300 other young people about coming from all points of Córdoba, a holiday frame of the preparations within the next World Youth Day to be held in Madrid in August.

The day began in the backyards of the Salesian School where Bishop welcomed all attendees, behind him, took the floor Don Pablo Garzon, Diocesan Youth Officer, which gave way to a lively theatrical performance by youth of the diocese where they had the life of San Juan de Avila.
Once the theater all the young people went in procession with the Icon of Mary, the Blessed John Paul II gave to university students, to the Parish of the Incarnation, where the remains of the saint, which took place Mass presided by Don Demetrio Fernandez and concelebrated by many priests throughout the diocese of Cordoba.
During the Eucharist was blessed a picture with the portrait of the newly beatified Juan Pablo II, which the present Bishop of Cordoba young and preserved in the Youth House, located in a local annex to the Parish of the Company of the capital.
In his homily, Don Demetrio, praised the figure of San Juan de Ávila, encouraged young people to pursue the gift of sanctity in our Lord and recalled the figure of John Paul II beatified, the pope of young people.

After Mass attendees headed back to school to eat a delicious Salesian paella they had prepared for all the young participants in the meeting Pascual.

Once eaten and privately and those who wanted it visited the house where he lived the holy museum, a place that is preserved as it was when it was inhabited by so distinguished sir.
